TD - there is no uncertainty regarding the reigns of the king - IF - you bother counting the years properly. And you have to read the scriptures very carefully to do that work.
Once you get to the reigns of Cyrus, Artaxerxes, etc, they are dealt with in an entirely different manner. Their reigns are only mentioned for the purpose of the tiny bit they are used for. Nothing else is allowed to be known because they are irrelvant to the prophecies to do with the coming of Jesus Christ.
The scriptures provide enough into to go from Adam 1 to Adam 2, providing you don't put any dates in and just go by events and ranges of time.
You can debate the 70 years (I'm no expert so I wont go there) but the info is there if you want to work through it.
Once you get to the centre of histroy, ie Jesus Christ, he, Jesus says he'll return at an unknown day and hour.
And yes Watchtower do date the metal image to 606 BCE, and that dream took place in the 2nd year of Neb. Jerusalem fell in the 19th year of Neb which they say is 607 BCE. So Neb's 19th year of rulership is followed by his 2nd year of rulership. Logic of the Watchtower. Only bettered by their saying Jehoiakim ruled for 11 years and died in the 3rd year of his rulership.

JoenB75 - my early years were spent being referred to a 'nigger'. Just another reason why the WT could never hurt me. I learnt to deal with insults, look beyond the words and hope for a good outcome if I was kind.
Been a few years now since I've ever been referred to as 'nigger.'
The worst insults I get now are from fruit-the-loop elders. If they spoke to me (which they wont, even if I trundle round after them in the supermarket), I expect they'd call me an apostate.
By domino mobile device relay system (latest form of tech, unheard of by MIT (they're on catch up)) I hear they refer to me as one with a 'disaffected mind.' This term is spat out. Obviously it miffs them a lot that i can both read and add up. Therefore, insults are directed towards me.
They elders haven't murdered anyone yet (not that I know of) but they are white. I sat with one and he said to me he'd like to be an executioner in they system of things. I put it to him that if he was in Nazi Germany that would mean killing Jehovah's Witnesses. He appeared comfortable with the idea, either that or he had a disaffected mind. I stood up and walked away in disgust and went and told the CO what he had just said. After all this was at the pioneer school, and this guy was teaching us!

JoenB75 - I was told the Scots brought us most of the technology. I knew several Scotsmen - one programmed DOS, the other couldn't work his central heating.
Is common sense/intelligence skin coloured or kilt coloured? If it is kilt coloured what are the colours on the kilt that indicate intelligence? And do the colours have to be in the warp and the weft or just the weft? Or the warp?
The one who couldn't work his central heating came from the Highlands, does altitude affect? He didn't live there very long. He moved to the other end of the country to spend his time castigating us for not being Scottish. He was ok though. Had a great way of wasting elders time by phoning them up to come round and fix his central heating. Maybe he was secretly very clever.

Genuine Christians cannot be racist.
However from experience at the hands of a corrupt media organisation, we know words such as this scripture below can be spun so that through an almost subliminal semantic shift the term 'Christ' gets replaced by GB.
Once the authority of Jesus Christ has been hijacked by the media org/false religion, all the words in scripture can be overridden by other books, magazines, videos, articles and new light.
(Colossians 3:9-11) . . .Strip off the old personality with its practices, 10 and clothe yourselves with the new [personality], which through accurate knowledge is being made new according to the image of the One who created it, 11 where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, foreigner, Scyth′i‧an, slave, freeman, but Christ is all things and in all.
The editors/GB will claim they are spirit directed. Therefore to submit to the media organisation is to submit to god. But not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Father of Jesus Christ.
That media organisation (it owns the platform) can by stealth (ie without upsetting the status quo too much), gradually change the scriptural values expressed by the First Born Only Begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ, into a set of procedures, which on the surface appear virtuous. But these procedures support a form of bullying which allows things like paedophilia (that is child sexual abuse), wife beating, adultery and other acts of cruelty and unfairness (inc racism) to go on.
The police have been very helpful at supporting some sets of Christian values. Watchtower publishers who have witnessed/experienced child sexual abuse have been able to turn to the police and get support.
With calls for police who support this and some other Christian values (such as don't steal) to be done away with, this support could be taken away and spun as a form of fighting racism.
